BBC White Ribbon Breakfast "Violence Against Women"

In conjunction with White Ribbon and as an initiative of Bendigo Family Violence Prevention Network, the BBC is holding a breakfast on "Violence against Women" where we will learn how businesses CAN make a difference.

Jane Ashton, the twin sister of Julie Ramage whose estranged husband was the last man in Victoria to successfuly rely on the partial defence on provocation will share her personal story of the impact that violence against women has within the community.

Following Jane will be Dr Leigh Gassner, a former Assistant Commissioner of Victoria Police, who will build on Jane's experience to explore how you can lead systemic change within the workplace to prevent violence against women.

When:  Friday 21th November 2012

Where:  Bendigo Bank Theatre @ The Capital - 50 View Street

Time:  7:15 am to 8:45 am

Cost:  $20 Donation - to be paid when booking ticket(s).
